Baystate Health is seeking an internal medicine hospitalist to join our growing team at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA.
Position Highlights –
• Practice as a part of our comprehensive hospitalist team which is comprised of Physicians, Advanced Practitioner, Hospitalist RNs, Quality RNs, Data Analysts, and Pharmacy Technicians.
• Join our dedicated nocturnist hospitalist team in a 7 on/7 off schedule which provides excellent work/life balance.
• Baystate Noble Hospital and regional outpatient practices have been serving the greater Westfield, MA community since 1893. Our 95-bed community hospital and area practices offer a variety of inpatient and outpatient services including medical, surgical, pulmonary rehabilitation, acute inpatient rehabilitation, cardiac, behavioral health, primary care and emergency services.
• Our close affiliation with nearby Baystate Medical Center / University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate means our patients and providers have a vast team of academic generalists and specialists at their fingertips.
Qualifications: Qualified applicants will be ABMS board eligible or certified internal medicine physicians. We are able to sponsor H1b visas but are unable to provide J1 waivers.

Baystate Noble Hospital (BNH) had its beginnings in 1893 when a wealthy local manufacturer, Reuben Noble, bequeathed a large portion of his estate to establish a hospital to care for the greater Westfield community, opening with 20 beds and eight physicians. Today, BNH is a 97-bed acute care community hospital that hosts approximately 400 primary and specialty physicians. Each year, there are an average of 150,000 outpatient visits to primary care, express care and hospital-based clinics, and lab and diagnostic imaging services. Some 30,000 patients visit to its emergency room and the hospital admits around 3,500 patients. Its physicians typically perform 400 inpatient and 1,000 outpatient surgeries each year.

Quality of Life
Located in Westfield MA (population 41,000), BNH is in the heart of beautiful suburban New England. Westfield is home to Westfield State University and is also 30 minutes from the 5-college area where Smith College, Mount Holyoke College, Amherst College, UMass Amherst and Hampshire College reside. The jewel of Westfield is Stanley Park, 300 acres of gardens and ponds with walking trails, dinosaur tracks, ball fields and playgrounds. Other popular towns that our Baystate Noble providers choose to live in are Longmeadow, Amherst and Northampton, MA as well as the Connecticut towns of Enfield, Suffield and Granby.
