Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization in western Massachusetts.
Position Highlights –
• Join a well-established and dedicated team of physicians and advanced practitioners providing outpatient innovative and compassionate, comprehensive and community based care to the inner-city, predominantly Hispanic/Latino community. NACQ patient centered medical home.
• Care for a population with complex needs and health disparities with opportunities for community involvement.
• Multi-disciplinary team with on-site support from: certified nurse-midwives, behavioral health services, opioid addiction treatment program, HIV medical care and support services, laboratory services, pharmacy and social services.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 2 years’ experience in a primary care or specialty setting. Strong commitment to working with our underserved community and comfortable with medically complex patients and the ability to function well as part of a medical team is essential. Fluency in medical Spanish is a plus.

Baystate Medical Center (BMC) is a 716-bed independent academic medical center. BMC is our community's major referral hospital, providing the highest level of care for conditions such as cancer, acute and chronic cardiovascular illness, nervous system illness, digestive illness, and other diseases that affect the major organ systems of the body.
