Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals, a Children’s Hospital, and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

• This position involves 30-40% inpatient consults at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield, MA, and outpatient clinic duties split between BFMC and a multi-specialty wellness center in Northampton, MA.
• Join our team consisting of 2 cardiologists and 2 Advanced Practice Providers who are community-based and well-integrated within our Heart & Vascular service line. We offer strong sub-specialty support onsite at both locations, including rotating specialists in electrophysiology, heart failure, and vascular medicine.
• Responsibilities include interpreting echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, stress nuclear tests, and performing transesophageal echocardiograms.
• There is an opportunity to spend time at our academic medical center, obtaining an academic appointment from UMass-Chan Medical School and participating in rounds and working alongside residents, fellows, and medical students, based on interest.
• This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a 1:4 call schedule that is typically very light.
