Plastics & Reconstructive Surgery Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Baystate Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our talented and compassionate team of 4 Surgeons and 3 Advanced Practitioners in our Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in western MA.
Position Highlights:
• Weekday schedule only, no overnight call.
• A team of collegial, supportive and innovative physicians, advanced practitioners and support staff.
• The opportunity to practice autonomously in outpatient clinic, and participate actively as first assist in the OR.
• Provide care for a variety of patients in the fields of cosmetic, reconstructive, and hand surgery.
• Additional opportunities available for training and independent clinical practice in non-invasive aesthetic services.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be PA or NP board certified in Massachusetts. Experience in surgery and procedures is desired, with the ability to see both adult and pediatric patients is required. Excellent organizational, communication and team skills are essential, with a strong commitment to quality, safety and patient-centered care.

Baystate Medical Center (BMC) is a 716-bed independent academic medical center. BMC is our community's major referral hospital, providing the highest level of care for conditions such as cancer, acute and chronic cardiovascular illness, nervous system illness, digestive illness, and other diseases that affect the major organ systems of the body. BMC is home to the state’s second-busiest emergency department and the region’s only Level 1 trauma center. Baystate Medical Center has 30+ residency and fellowship programs, as well as educational programs for medical students, nurses and advanced practitioners. Departmental research includes participation in a number of national clinical trials that bring our patients options that might not otherwise be available in our community.
