Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant leader to join our organization.

Position Highlights –

• Join our Department of Medicine leadership team in an APP Supervisor role which offers clinical practice and protected time for oversight of our team of 20 APPs in the outpatient Medicine Specialties clinics: Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, and Pulmonary/Critical Care.
• This position is located at our 700-bed flagship hospital in Springfield, MA. This is a full-time position within one of the medicine specialties with protected time for administrative responsibilities.
• Facilitate growth and development of the APP staff within the Department of Medicine. Oversee the daily operations of the APP team, including quality improvement initiatives, coaching and performance evaluations.
• Our leadership team, including our Director of APPs, will help you foster an environment of teamwork where expectations are clearly defined and successes are celebrated.

Qualifications: Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of 3 years APP practice experience in a Medicine Specialty and a solid commitment to the Baystate values of collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning. Demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
