Emergency Medicine Advanced Practitioner Opportunity

Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization.

Position Highlights –

• Join our team of emergency medicine physicians, APPs and outstanding support staff at Baystate Wing Hospital (BWH) in Palmer MA.
• Practice in our state-of-the-art 20 bed ED where every detail of the department was designed to provide top-notch patient experience.
• Our physicians and APPs handle approximately 20,000 annual visits in the ED. APPs run our fast track with strong backup from attendings.
• Excellent local and organizational leadership means that you are well connected with our system-wide EM team to ensure great standards of care and opportunities for professional development.
• BWH is a 74-bed community hospital which operates in close partnership with nearby Baystate Medical Center / UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate. We deliver high quality, patient-centered care with physicians and APPs who specialize in 45 medical disciplines, including adult and family medicine, general surgery, psychiatry, obstetrics and gynecology and pediatrics.

Qualifications: Board certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 1+ year experience in emergency medicine or urgent care. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential.
