Baystate Medical Practices is a multi-specialty group that includes 1000 physicians and advanced practice clinicians in primary care, specialty and surgical disciplines who bring their expertise to patients at more than 120 practices across more than 80 sites across western Massachusetts.

Baystate Health is also an attractive career choice for its leading-edge research—from NIH-sponsored initiatives, clinical trials and Quality of Care Research to the latest advances in breast cancer, apoptosis, obesity, diabetes and metabolic disease. We also have strong cross-disciplinary partnerships with more than a dozen research organizations, universities, bio-medical groups and technology groups.

In addition, BMC is home to 10 residency and 22 fellowship programs; allowing you to follow your desire to mentor, teach or supervise. Each year, Baystate Health trains hundreds of residents and fellows, plus first-, third- and fourth-year medical students from the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Chan and other medical students, advanced practice clinician students, and those from ancillary health disciplines.
