Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join our Division of Interventional Radiology at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
This opportunity features:
EXPERIENCED TEAM. Join a well-established, collegial team of 4 interventional radiologists.
ESTABLISHED PROGRAM. A broad spectrum of interventional services including, angiography, arterial and venous interventions, UFE, vertebral augmentation, TIPS, venous access and an active oncology program with RF ablation, cryoablation, Y-90 and chemoembolization.
OPTIMAL SCHEDULE. 1 in 5 call. Approximately 60% outpatient and 40% inpatient. 4 days interventional procedural work, 1 day clinic. No need to travel to smaller peripheral hospitals. Elective cases after 5:30 PM: uncommon. Level-1 trauma center, but on-call trauma caseload is not overwhelming. Neurovascular work is covered by another team.
FACULTY APPOINTMENT. Combination of clinical care and resident and medical student teaching with faculty appointment to the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Baystate's Radiology Residency is ACGME-accredited. Research collaboration opportunities with on-campus animal facility and with U Mass researchers, on site and in nearby Amherst (< 30 minutes).

The ideal applicant should be CAQ (MOC) certified or CAQ-eligible in Interventional Radiology. Interest in clinical education preferred, but not required. New grads welcome to apply!
