Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
• Join the region’s only Level I Trauma Center where we provide the highest level of trauma, acute care surgery, and surgical critical care to patients of all ages. Our team of trauma surgeons and advanced practice providers respond to approximately 2,300 patients annually at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
• In this role you will care for Emergency General Surgery patients alongside board certified attendings, surgical residents, and experienced PAs and NPs.
• Opportunity to first assist in the operating room. Nurse Practitioners require RNFA Certification.

Qualifications: BE or BC Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. RNFA certification required for nurse practitioners.

Baystate Medical Center (BMC) is a 716-bed independent academic medical center. BMC is our community's major referral hospital, providing the highest level of care for conditions such as cancer, acute and chronic cardiovascular illness, nervous system illness, digestive illness, and other diseases that affect the major organ systems of the body. BMC is home to the state’s second-busiest emergency department and the region’s only Level 1 trauma center.
