Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. We are seeking an experienced Palliative Care Physician to join our organization.

Position Highlights -
• Join our growing outpatient Palliative Care division, consisting of 5 MD’s, 7 Advanced Practice Providers, social workers and strong support staff.
• Practice at the D’Amour Cancer Center, where our dedicated team is committed to providing exceptional care and support for patients with cancer. We are seeking passionate and qualified candidates to spearhead our Outpatient Palliative Care Program, an essential initiative designed to enhance the quality of life for patients navigating the complexities of living with cancer and of cancer survivorship.
• Enjoy your work/life balance as we offer a Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm schedule, with no call, weekends, or holidays.
• Faculty appointment to UMass Chan Medical School - Baystate with time for clinical innovation, educational program development, teaching, and grant activities. Ability to participate in conferences and lectures, teach our medical residents, future palliative medicine fellows, current hematology oncology fellows and participate in research/QI projects.

Qualifications: ABMS BE/BC in Palliative Care. Ideal candidates will have experience in Outpatient Palliative Care and clinic program development.

The compensation ranges in the table below represent the base salaries for all positions at a given grade across the health system. Typically, a new hire can expect a starting salary somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual salaries may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate’s relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly for non-exempt employees and based on assumed full time commitment for exempt employees.

Palliative Care: $218,500 - $300,000
