Pediatric Endocrinology Advanced Practitioner - Baystate Health
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Endocrinology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization in western Massachusetts.
Practice Highlights –
• Join our team of 5 pediatric endocrinologists, CDE nurses and dieticians within a culture of academic rigor and mutual respect to provide outstanding clinical care to a diverse patient population.
• Practice is ~50% diabetes (60-70 new-onset diabetics per year) and ~50% general endocrine disorders, including transgender care and well-established weight management program/bariatric and T2DM programs
• Baystate Children’s Hospital is a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 107-beds and includes the region’s only PICU and NICU, as well as pediatric inpatient hospitalists services, child life specialists, a designated 24-hour pediatric ED and services from >12 pediatric subspecialties, including pediatric surgery and child psychiatry.
• This is a full-time position.
Qualifications: BC Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with pediatric experience and CDE certification preferred. Demonstrable record of collaboration, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enthusiasm for medical education and mentoring is important.
