Certified Nurse Midwife Opportunity – Triage Ob/Gyn
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
• Join our experienced team of CNMs, nurses, strong support staff and collaborating physicians in the Women’s Evaluation & Triage Unit at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
• Our team is responsible for evaluating preterm and term labor, complications of pregnancy, and urgent presentations of gynecologic conditions. Advanced practice opportunities are available in limited obstetrical ultrasound.
• Combine clinical care with education of future care providers from many disciplines. Position includes joint faculty appointment to Baystate Midwifery Education Program and involvement in clinical and didactic education of student midwives. Position also involves supervision of residents in training and eligibility for faculty appointment with the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.
• This is a part time position which involves working 24 hours a week over an 8-week schedule.

Qualifications: Minimum of 2 year of experience in a triage or full scope capacity. BC certified nurse midwife.
