Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to serve as Advanced Practice Provider Team Supervisor within our Department of Community Health Centers.

Position Highlights –

• Provide leadership to our APPs at Mason Square Community Health Center, High Street Adult Community Health Center and Brightwood Health Community Health Center in Springfield, MA.

• As APP Team Supervisor, you will have protected administrative time to lead our team of APPs, manage schedules and develop & achieve team and organizational goals.

• Work closely with our Director of APPs to communicate system information to your team, as well as voice ideas and feedback from your team to top leadership.

• Work with AP Educator related to AP education, APP students, Residents and collaborate with NP Residency Director to ensure smooth function of the FNP Residency program at High Street.

• Collaborate with health center medical directors and administrators. Meet regularly with health center APPs and provide support and development.

• Practice in a collaborative care team model where our APPs, residents and attendings share a panel to provide excellent patient-centered care. Strong commitment to working with a diverse patient population, including a sizeable underprivileged, inner-city population is necessary.

Qualifications: Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with 2+ years of practice experience in a community health center setting with demonstrated leadership experience is required. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning is essential for success. This opportunity is for internal candidates currently.
