Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking Hematologist/Oncologists to join our employed physician team.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• Join our team of 14 physicians and 10 APPs at Baystate Regional Cancer Program in western Massachusetts. Our program is the region’s only academic cancer service and the only program doing clinical research.
• We have disease-specific teams in gastrointestinal cancers, genitourinary cancers, thoracic cancers and breast cancer which include physicians, APPs and practice nurses. Multidisciplinary tumor boards meet regularly and include surgical specialties, radiation oncology, pathology and radiology. Our fully integrated program includes radiation and surgical oncology, and a dedicated oncology inpatient unit.
• Certified ASCO Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) program. Strong focus on value, evidence-based care and quality improvement.
• We are currently seeking physicians with expertise in breast oncology and malignant hematology.
• Combination of clinical care and resident, hem/onc fellow and medical student teaching with faculty appointment at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.
• Investigator-initiated research, cooperative and pharmaceutical group trials, with both clinical, QI and translational research opportunities available.
