Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking internal medicine physician leaders to join our organization in western Massachusetts.

• Full-time position: 80% Clinical, 20% Leadership Role
• Dedicated team of experienced physicians, advanced practitioners and support staff
• Leads initiatives that demonstrate improvement in identified/at risk situations
• Institutes quality programs and develops, measures and reports results through quality structure
• Demonstrates professional behavior & leads by example when handling conflict / difficult situations
• Evaluates patient/customer satisfaction and implements novel approaches for team to meet/exceed expectations

Supportive Work Environment:
Nurse triage during days, nights and first call after hours and on weekends. Scribes. 1:1 Medical Assistants. Direct access to a large multi-specialty group including Behavioral Health network integration. Lab and practice specialty scheduler onsite. State of the art EMR with technology support to optimize your non-clinical time.

Work/Life Balance:
Our practices are located through western MA- choose the community site that works for you. Flexible work schedule to fit your needs- choose full time or part time. Full time 4 day work week available. Built-in administrative time and ramp-up time for new physicians. Very reasonable patient volume expectations.

Professional Satisfaction:
Faculty appointment to UMass Medical School (dependent on practice site) with opportunity to teach medical students, residents and APP students. Numerous CME and leadership activities available throughout our organization.

Qualifications: Candidates must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine. Role modeling of exceptional clinical, teaching and communication skills in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment is expected.
