Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield MA.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• Join our team of emergency medicine physicians and PAs in our state-of-the-art 20-bed ED at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield MA.
• This is a part time position- approximately 12 hours/week.
• Our ED handle approximately 27,000 annual patient visits.
• APPs run the fast track from 9:30am-9:30pm and enjoy independent practice with mentorship available.
• Strong specialty support on site as well as at nearby Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. BMC is our flagship academic hospital and level 1 trauma center.
• Strong local and organizational leadership means that you are well connected with our system-wide EM team to ensure great standards of care and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications: Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. 2 years Emergency Medicine experience is required.

Baystate Franklin Medical Center (BFMC), a 90-bed and 20 bassinet community hospital in Greenfield, MA, has been serving the health needs of area residents since 1895. Growing steadily, Baystate Franklin Medical Center has recently completed the expansion and renovation of its Emergency Department, Radiology, the Intensive Care Unit and medical-surgical areas, as well as new operating rooms.
BFMC also received “A” grades from Leapfrog Group on its Hospital Safety Score and earned a Get With The Guidelines®—Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association.

Known for its charming, locally owned shops on Main Street and easy access to Interstate 91, Greenfield is a midsized city (population 17,400) with affordable historic houses and a booming arts community. The region is home to Greenfield Community College and excellent private schools such as Stoneleigh-Burnham School and Northfield Mount Hermon in nearby Gill, and Deerfield Academy in nearby Deerfield. Within 20 minutes of BFMC is an array of beautiful towns such as Greenfield, Conway, Deerfield, Amherst, Northampton. The Vermont and New Hampshire boarders are 20 minutes north, making Brattleboro VT and Keene NH easily commutable.
