Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, children's hospital, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• Join our team of emergency medicine physicians and PAs in our state-of-the-art 20-bed ED at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield MA.
• This is a 0.75 FTE position, approximately 9 shifts/month. 3 weekend shifts/month are required.
• Our ED handle approximately 27,000 annual patient visits.
• APPs run the fast track from 9:30am-9:30pm and enjoy independent practice with mentorship available. Opportunity for 6 hour shifts if desired.
• Strong specialty support on site as well as at nearby Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. BMC is our flagship academic hospital and level 1 trauma center.
• Strong local and organizational leadership means that you are well connected with our system-wide EM team to ensure great standards of care and opportunities for professional development.
Qualifications: BC Physician Assistant. 2 years Emergency Medicine experience is required.
