Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Opportunity

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• Join our group of cardiology specialists at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA. The Baystate Heart and Vascular Program is a highly integrated regional service line that includes cardiology, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery and is national recognized as a leader in cardiology care.
• The Cardiac Catheterization laboratory at BMC utilizes new and emerging technologies in providing the full complement of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures. Our team of experienced Advanced Practitioners supports our patients in the cath lab by providing pre and post procedure care, patient education, and outpatient follow up.
• This position is primarily inpatient with one full day of ambulatory clinic.
• Supportive work and learning environment with a cardiologist always available on site.
• This full-time position involves Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts. 1:5 weekend rounding for general cardiology.

Qualifications: ABMS BC Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience in cardiology and ability to work independently is important.
