POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• Join our interventional cardiologist specialists at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA. The Baystate Heart and Vascular Program is a highly integrated regional service line that includes cardiology, cardiac surgery, and vascular surgery and is national recognized as a leader in cardiology care.
• Our cath lab team manages a very high volume of diagnostic and interventional procedures and utilizes new and emerging technologies. Our APPs provide consults, pre and post procedure care, patient education, and outpatient follow up.
• This position is primarily inpatient with one full day of ambulatory clinic.
• Supportive work and learning environment with a cardiologist always available on site.
• This full-time position involves Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts. 1:5 weekend rounding for general cardiology.
• Qualifications: ABMS BC Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience in cardiology and ability to work independently is important.
