Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistants to join our growing team.
Position Highlights:
• Join our team of 12+ emergency medicine physicians and advanced practitioners in our state-of-the-art 20-bed ED at Baystate Franklin Medical Center in Greenfield MA.
• Our ED handle approximately 27,000 annual patient visits. APPs run the fast track from 9:30am-9:30pm and enjoy independent practice with mentorship available.
• Strong specialty support on site as well as at nearby Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. BMC is our flagship academic hospital and level 1 trauma center.
• Strong local and organizational leadership means that you are well connected with our system-wide EM team to ensure great standards of care and opportunities for professional development.
Qualifications: Board certification as a Physician Assistant. Due to the independent nature of this role, candidates must have 3+ years of experience in emergency medicine or urgent care.
Baystate Franklin Medical Center is an 89-bed, full-service community hospital in Greenfield MA. We have over 200 physicians and advanced practitioners that provide services such as emergency medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, primary care, oncology and surgery.
