Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our organization.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:
• Baystate Wing Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our growing team at our 46-bed community hospital in Palmer MA. Our team consists of 15 physicians, 4 APPs, and an outstanding support team.
• Our state-of-the-art 20-bed ED has been designed with every detail focused on providing an excellent patient experience. Our Physicians and APPs handle approximately 39,000 annual patient visits. APPs run the fast track.
• APPs run a fast track in the evenings.
• Excellent specialty backup at nearby Baystate Medical Center/ UMass Chan Medical School, the region’s only Level 1 trauma center. Strong central leadership provides excellent support and resources for our community teams. Our emergency medicine service line handles >208,000 visits annually.
• Candidates must be BE/BC ABMS in emergency medicine.
• We have both full time and per diem opportunities.
