Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Family Planning Ob/Gyn Physician to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
• Join our outstanding team of physicians, advanced practitioners and support staff providing Ob/Gyn care at Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. Our team provides full scope Ob/Gyn services and has a strong commitment to caring for a diverse patient population, including a sizeable underprivileged, and inner-city population.
• The department has approximately 4,200 deliveries annually with a high proportion of high-risk pregnancies and a level III NICU. Strong subspecialty support available.
• Practice full scope of clinical Complex Family planning, including second trimester dilation and evacuation, medication abortion, and medically complex contraception.
• Practice in an academic environment alongside our 24 Ob/Gyn residents, medical students and advanced practice providers.
• Combination of clinical care and resident, fellow and medical student teaching with faculty appointment at University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School.

Qualifications: ABMS Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology with fellowship training in Complex Family Planning. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential.
