Advanced Practice Supervisor Opportunity – Emergency Medicine
Position Highlights –
• Join our Emergency Medicine leadership team in an APP Supervisor role which offers clinical practice and protected time for oversight of our team of 20 APPs.
• This position is based at Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. BMC is a level I trauma center and one of the busiest EDs in the state, caring for over 120,000 patients annually. Our 72,000 square foot ED is equipped with private rooms, a separate pediatric ED, behavioral health rooms and top of the line technology.
• Oversee the daily operations of the APP team, including quality improvement initiatives, coaching and performance evaluations. Our leadership team, including our Director of APPs, will help you foster an environment of teamwork where expectations are clearly defined, and successes are celebrated.
• Enjoy close partnership with our EM APP Educator to facilitate strong onboarding and sustained training. Our dedicated Scheduler will work closely with you to build schedules based on skillset.
• This is a full-time position with primarily day/evening shifts. Protected time for administrative responsibilities.

Qualifications: Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a minimum of 3 years APP practice experience in Emergency Medicine. Strong knowledge of emergency medicine, as well as demonstrated leadership and staff training experience is necessary.
