Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking Psychiatrists to join Baystate Behavioral Health Hospital.
Position Highlights –
• Baystate Health & Kindred Behavioral Health are partnering to open a new $72 million state-of-the-art behavioral health hospital in Holyoke MA. Expected to open in summer 2023, the 150-bed freestanding facility will feature 120 semi-private rooms and 30 private rooms for the Commonwealth of MA Department of Mental Health. The 23,230-square-foot facility is designed specifically for behavioral health services to foster a better healing environment for patients and will feature a wide range of programs to meet patients’ varying treatment needs.
• We seek adult and child & adolescent psychiatrists to provide inpatient and partial hospitalization services in partnership with our PMHNPs and strong support teams. Full time and part time opportunities are available. We offer flexible schedules, highly competitive compensation and excellent benefits. These are employed positions within Baystate Medical Practices, which includes 900+ physicians and 400+ APPs.
• Baystate Health’s flagship academic medical center, Baystate Medical Center, located in Springfield, MA, offers access and collaboration with psychiatry leadership as well as consultation and psychiatric crisis services. As a member of our Department of Psychiatry, you will experience outstanding teamwork with our multi-disciplinary and well-established group which is dedicated to evidence-based and culturally sensitive care for our community.
