Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
• Join our experienced team of 14 Advanced Practitioners who provider inpatient stroke and general neurology coverage at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA.
• With excellent APP and physician support, you will respond to stroke calls in all areas of the hospital, as well as provide general neurology consults as needed. Our dedicated team will support you in your orientation and professional development in neurology.
• Baystate is proud to be a primary stroke center, working towards Comprehensive Stroke Designation.
• Potential to work in the neuro critical care unit if desired.
• This is a full-time position and the schedule consists of ten 12-hour shifts per 3-week block (mix of days, nights, weekends).

Qualifications: BE/BC as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Experience in neurology is highly desirable, although we can provide training for a new graduate with strong interest in neurology. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning is essential.
