Pediatric Hospitalist Advanced Practitioner Provider Opportunity
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Division of Pediatrics.
Baystate Children’s Hospital is the leading provider of general and specialty pediatric services in western MA. Our 107-bed facility houses the region’s only Pediatric ICU and Level III NICU, a 45-bed inpatient unit, a Pediatric Procedure Unit, a designated Pediatric Emergency Room, and a pediatric transport team. Additionally, Baystate Children’s Specialty Center provides 15 pediatric specialty services under one roof, with focus on care coordination, comfort and convenience for children and families.
Position Highlights –
• Work side-by-side with our team of well-established and dedicated pediatric hospitalists (14 physicians and APP) caring for patients on the children and adolescent unit at Baystate Children’s Hospital (BCH) in Springfield, MA.
• Responsibilities include admitting, discharging, inpatient rounds, daily management & documentation of care plans and parent/family education, and newborn nursery care.
• Ability to work autonomously with strong physician support and collaboration, must be comfortable seeing newborns through adolescents
• This full-time position offers work/life balance working 8-hour day shifts M-F, occasional evening shifts and one weekend a month.

Qualifications: Experienced board-certified PNP preferred, will also consider FNP, NNP, PA. Strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality, and lifelong learning is essential.
