Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Vascular Surgeon to join our team in western Massachusetts.

Position Highlights:
• Join the integrated Division of Vascular Surgery which consists of 6 vascular surgeons and 10 advanced practitioners at the most advanced heart and vascular program in western Massachusetts.
• One of New England’s busiest surgical practices, our vascular surgery program is primarily located at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA, a Level 1 Trauma Center and 700+ bed academic medical center that serves a population of over 800,000 in a four-county area. Our team offers a collaborative and collegial environment and mentorship for early- to mid-career surgeons.
• We perform a full spectrum of open and endovascular procedures at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. You will have 3 OR days and 2 clinic days per week, and call is 1:7. New state-of-the-art OR facilities opened in 2023, including 4 hybrid rooms and new prep & recovery bays.
• Enjoy a combination of clinical care and academics with faculty appointment to the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate. We have a robust general surgery residency and are actively developing a vascular surgery fellowship. You can also participate in clinical trials and QI/safety projects.

Qualifications: ABMS BC/BE in Vascular Surgery and a strong commitment to collaboration, courage, quality and lifelong learning.
